John J. Krause

John J. Krause, 67 of West Brunswick Township died February 8th in the Reading Hospital & Medical Center. He was the husband of Norma J. (Wentzel) Krause to whom he was married to for almost 42 years. John was born in Pottsville and was the son of the late Lester and Clara (Stine) Krause. He was a 1966 graduate of Blue Mountain High School and a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. He was a member of St. Paul's U.C.C., Summer Hill. John worked for Omnova Solutions since 1971. He was last employed as a supervisor and last worked in December 2015. John was a member of the Rainbow Gun Club, Auburn and enjoyed NASCAR very much. He owned a racecar, which ran at Big Diamond and other area tracks for five years. John worked on the wrecking crew at big Diamond for many years. In addition to his wife, a son, Bradley J. Krause, Schuylkill Haven, a daughter Lauren B. Krause, Reading, one brother David Krause and one sister, Kathleen Kline, survive John. A brother, Thomas Krause, predeceased him.
