John A. Kral

John A. Kral, 96, passed away December 23, 2010, in The Highlands at Wyomissing Skilled Nursing.

His wife, Florence E. (DeWald) Kral, died March 7, 2001.

Born in Bowersville, PA, he was a son of the late John P. and Elizabeth H. (Bicho) Kral.

He was a graduate of Sts. Cosmos and Damien High School, Punxsutawney, PA, Lebanon Business College, Lebanon, PA.

John was employed as an office manager for 25 years by Molly Corporation, Temple and later for 20 years by Pacific Tower Community Associates, San Diego, CA, in the same capacity, retiring in 1999.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.

John was Past President of Holy Name Society, Reading, Chairman of the Berks Camera Club and Colored Slides Division of the Camera Club.

He was also a 4th Degree Knight, Knights of Columbus, Reading.

Survivors include: a sister, Marie M. Balog, Schaefferstown a niece, Sharen Soliday, Reading and other nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
