John S. Koutroulelis

John S. "Ignatious" Koutroulelis, 56, passed away on February 12, 2017, after a 32 month battle with small cell cancer. John bravely fought on and endured many surgical, chemotherapy, and radiation treatments, determined to spend more time with the family he dearly loved.

John grew up in Wilkes Barre, PA., the son of Evangelia (Hiras), Williamsport, PA and the late Stanley Koutroulelis. John was a graduate of Williamsport High School and Lycoming College with a degree in Physics. Most recently, John had been employed at Runwell Solutions, Wyomissing, as a computer network engineer.

In addition to his mother, John is survived by his wife of 11 years, Suzanne; two children: Evangelia; and Stelios; one sister, Vassilia, and her children: Yanni, Matthew, and Christina; one brother, Christopher, husband of Nicole, and their son Ari; and one aunt, Theana Sheetz.

John enjoyed nature and the mountains, gardening, and working on creating his woodworking shop, although the disease progression cut short his plans for woodworking. John was a "relentless" problem solver, constantly amazing his wife that he could always find a solution to a computer problem or broken household item in need of repair.

John will be dearly missed by his wife and family and many who had met him along his journey.

Services will be held Thursday, February 16, 2017, at 11:30 am in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery.
