John H. Ulrich

John Henry Ulrich, 86, died of natural causes December 12th in his Lincoln Park residence.

He was the husband of Alice L. (Newkirk) Ulrich.

Born in Shillington, he was a son of the late Clarence and Gertrude (Engelhart) Ulrich.

He was a 1936 graduate of Shillington High School and an engineering graduate from Tri-State College, Angola, Indiana.

Ulrich was a member of Lincoln Park Community United Methodist Church.

He was an Army Veteran of WWII.

Ulrich was employed 38 years as a salesman at Apex Alkali Products Company, Philadelphia, retiring in 1983.

He is also survived by a son, Thomas R. husband of Nancy E. (Milligan) Ulrich of Cumru Township.

Other survivors include two grandsons, Alan M. Ulrich of Cumru Township and Lee Patrick Ulrich of Sinking Spring.

Services will be Saturday at 10:00 am in Lincoln Park Community United Methodist Church, Cambridge Avenue and Jefferson Blvd. Rev. Larry D. Carl officiating. Viewing Friday evening 6:30 - 8:00 pm in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. No public viewing on Saturday. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
