John H. Fix, 81, of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Veterans Center, Chester County and formerly of 5112 Casa Grande Road, Temple, died April 3, 2002 at 7:19 p.m. in the Phoenixville Hospital Emergency Room, Chester County. He was the husband of the late Jane L. (Kantner) Fix (died March 1, 1996).
Born in Monocacy, Pa., he was the son of the late Freeman and Blanche (Hahn) Fix.
Fix was a serviceman for 37 years at U.G.I. Utilities, Reading, retiring in 1982.
He was a 1938 graduate of Reading High School.
Fix was a Army Veteran of World War II.
Fix is survived by a stepson Larry H. Endy of Manassas, Virginia and a stepdaughter Lynda L. Endy of Bernville.
He is also survived by a niece Blanche Spohn of Kenhorst, four step-grandchildren and seven step-great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a son, David Fix.
Services will be Saturday 10:00 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. Viewing will be held Friday night 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Spring Township.
