John Fedak

John Fedak, 86, died surrounded by his loving family on August 24, 2008 at 7:20 am in his Spring Township residence.

He was married May 17, 1946 to the late Marie Elena (Weiner) Fedak, who died October 12, 2006.

Born in Topolonia, Czechoslovakia on July, 3, 1922, he was a son of the late Michael and Mary (Budnar) Fedak.

He was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park.

John was employed for 42 years as an electrician with Dana Corporation, Reading, retiring in 1984.

He is survived by a daughter; Debra J. (Fedak) Barnshaw of Reading and a son-in-law; R. Brian Shober of Sinking Spring.

John is also survived by twin grandchildren: Heather L. (Bowman), wife of Yves Deiss and Matthew S. Bowman.

He was predeceased by a daughter; Rosalee Marie (Fedak) Shober, who died July 9, 2008.

Memorial Services will be held Wednesday at 7:30 pm in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, with Rev. Gerald C. Arndt officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the services in the funeral home.
