John William Elton

John William Elton, JR, 68 of Windsor Township died in his residence December 2, 2015. He was the husband of Helen V. (McAlee) Elton. He was born in Wilkinsburg and was the son of the late John W. Elton, SR and Agnes M (Sader) Elton of Turtle Creek, PA. John was a 1965 graduate of Wilkinsburg High School, and graduated from University of Delaware with a B.S. in Engineering and George Washington University with a Masters of Engineering. John was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving during the Vietnam Conflict. He was of the Catholic faith. In addition to his wife and mother, two sons survive John, Nathan J. husband of Molly Elton, Wilmington, DE. Jeffrey W. husband of Robin Elton, Landenberg, PA and grandchildren, Olivia, James, Jacob, Maverick, and Cassidy. Two brothers, Clifford husband of Tina Elton, Coraopolis and Keith husband of Jackie Elton, Monroeville, also survive him. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM from St. Mary Church, 94 Walnut Road, Hamburg. Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Building Maintenance Fund, 94 Walnut Road, PO Box 189, Hamburg, PA. 19526.
