John P. Brogan

John P. Brogan, Jr., 53, passed away August 18, 2009 surrounded by his loving family in his Spring Township residence.

He was the husband of Beverly A. (Hatch) Brogan.

Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late John P., Sr. and Patricia Rose (Lawless) Kephart.

John was employed for 23 years by Scheler and Shifflett Masonry.

He was an avid Nascar fan. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and the beach.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, John P., III, Ephrata and Joseph J., who resides at home; and his daughter, Nicole B., wife of Daniel J. Hogan, Ephrata.

He is also survived by his brother, Michael D., husband of Elizabeth A. Brogan, Boyertown; and two grandchildren, Daniel J. Hogan III and Maura Clare Hogan.

Memorial Services will be Sunday August 30, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Pottstown Quoiting Club, 204 S. Hanover St., Pottstown, PA 19464. Edward J.
