John H. Boyer Jr.

John H. Boyer, Jr., 66, of West Reading, passed away April 21, 2016, at the Reading Hospital.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late John H., Sr., and Dorothy P. (Ziegenfus) Boyer.

He was a member of the Fritztown Fire Company.

John loved the great outdoors, he enjoyed fishing and loved looking for Indian arrowheads. He also found pleasure in making bird houses and walking sticks.

He had a friendly personality, caring nature and love of his family. John will be greatly missed.

He is survived by two children: Gerry and April; two siblings: Donald G. Boyer and Mary Boyer Cunningham; three grandchildren: Kayla; Myranda and Bianca; many nieces and nephews and two aunts.

John was predeceased by his son, John H. Boyer III and two siblings: Linda L. Boyer Nye and Gary R. Boyer.
