John Bellanca

John Bellanca, 77, of Clair Street, Montrose Manor, Cumru Township, died June 14 in Reading Hospital.

He was the husband of Rose M. (Cucinotta) Bellanca.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Joseph and Rosalie (Benigno) Bellanca.

Bellanca had been employed for 33 years as a shipper by Hofmann Industries, Sinking Spring, retiring in 1988.

He was a member of St. John Baptist de la Salle Roman Catholic Church, Shillington.

Bellanca was a Navy veteran of World War II.

He is also survived by a daughter, Beverly J. (Bellanca) Gristick, Shillington.

Other survivors include a sister, Becky Bellanca, and two brothers, Phillip and Samuel, all of Reading.

There are also two grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in St. John Baptist de la Salle RC Church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
