John A. Wetherhold

John A. Wetherhold, 61, died peacefully in the arms of his family on October 1, 2007.

He was the husband of Patricia A. (Dwight) Wetherhold.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late John A., Sr. and Eleanor K. (Chelius) Wetherhold.

He was a graduate of Wilson High School in 1964.

John was the parts manager for 40 years for Dick Horrigan and Vision Auto Group, retiring in 2005.

He was a member of St. Benedict's Roman Catholic Church, Mohnton.

John was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two loving daughters, Erica A. (Wetherhold) wife of Stephen Barnes and Lisa M. (Wetherhold) wife of Keith Niedrowski, Reading. There is also one stepson, Marc Deininger; and one stepdaughter, Tara (Deininger) wife of Jason Kriese. There are two brothers, Michael Wetherhold and Francis Wetherhold; and one sister, Jane Anne (Wetherhold) Steuer. Pop Pop is also survived by five grandchildren, who loved their grandfather very much; they include Dylan and Avery Niedrowski; Harrison and Elle Barnes; and Mercer Kriese.
