Johanna C. Gosling

Johanna C. Gosling, 89, formerly of Wyomissing Hills, died August 25, 2006, in her residence, at 1765 Powder Mill Road, York, PA where she had been since October of 2002.

Her husband Walter B. died August 22nd 1983.

Born in The Hague, Holland. Daughter of the late Karel and Johanna (Schra) Van Reijn.

She was employed as a senior aid by the Reading Hospital and Medical Center. She had worked there for 21 years and retired in April 1984.

She was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, West Lawn, PA.

Survivors include two daughters, Gemma, wife of Donald Martin of Spring Grove, PA. and Dolores, widow of Andrew J. Detky, Bristol, PA. One brother, Karel Van Reijn, of The Hague Holland, one sister, Corrie, widow of John Goffin of Lumburg, The Netherlands. There are five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday September 7th at 11:00 A.M. at St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church. Interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. There will be no viewing.
