Joel Michael Ulrich

Joel Michael Ulrich, 26, died unexpectedly June 13, 2012, in his Robesonia residence, where he resided with his fiancee Courtney T. Porr.

Born in Reading, he was the son of Robin L. (Strough) Sterner and the late Michael K. Ulrich.

He was a graduate of Governor Mifflin High School in 2004.

Joel was employed by Texas Roadhouse for 10 years under the supervision of Laura E. Baker most recently as a kitchen manager, last working Wednesday.

In addition to his fiancee and mother, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Barbara M. and Robert H. Strough and his paternal grandparents, Miriam K. and Donald K. Ulrich, all of Robeson Township and his sister, Jennifer L. Ulrich, Birdsboro.

Services will be Monday at 6:30 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611. Burial will be private. Friends may call Monday from 4 to 6:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
