Joel Rual Torres

Joel Rual Torres, Jr., 23, of Muhlenberg Township died January 13, 2015 after being involved in a two vehicle crash on Rt. 183.

He was the husband of Anna Lyn Soto.

Born in Rochester, New York on February 5, 1991, he was a son of Joel R. Torres Sr., of Rochester, New York and Elizabeth (Gonzalez) Medina, companion of Juan Pablo Corado of Bethel Township.

Joel attended Muhlenberg High School.

He was last employed with Wolfe House Movers, LLC.

Joel is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Maria G. (Rodriguez) Curet and Felix Curet of Reading and his paternal grandmother, Maximina Torres, widow of Modesto Torres of Rochester, New York.

Other survivors include a daughter, Chanel L. Torres and two step-daughters: Yazelyn Singleton and Leya Davis.

There are also six siblings surviving: Osvaldo Torres of Bethel, Luiz Medina of Reading, David Medina of Reading, Sylvana Medina of Bethel, Vianca Medina of Bethel and Pedro Corado.

Services will be held Friday, January 16th at 4:00 pm in Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services.
