Joel B. Readinger

Joel B. Readinger, 76, of Oley, passed away on Monday, July 11,2011 in the Golden Living Center, Exeter where he was a resident.

He was the husband of Fern E. (Hilbert) Readinger.

Born in Rockland Township, he was a son of Esta (Boyer) Readinger, of Topton and the late Earl B. Readinger.

He was employed as a truck driver by Branch Motor Freight and lastly worked for Cressona Trucking until retiring in 1990.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his Son: James L. Readinger of Oley and his Daughter: Linda M. Guinther of Rockland Township. Also his Brothers: Daniel of Delaware and Alfred and Samuel, both of Fleetwood. Also surviving are his Sisters: Vera Smarr of Mertztown and Fern Fritz of Hamburg. Also surviving are 5 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.

Services will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at 11:00 am in Blankenbiller Funeral Home, 423 Main Street, Oley. Interment will follow in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Township.
