Joel B. Evans Sr.

Joel B. Evans Sr., 57, of Reading passed away May 23, 2021, in the Reading Hospital.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late James T., husband of Cynthia Baxter, and Materal mother, Gwendlyn Davis.

Joel was a graduate of Reading High School.

He was previously employed by Aramark.

Joel was a kind and caring man, loving father and grandfather. He was truly loved by many he encountered and will be missed all.

He is survived by his seven children, Tenesha Evans, Shanice Evans, Joell Evans, Elijah Evans, Justin Evans, Kayla Evans, Jovanni Evans, JJ Evans; eight grandchildren, Marquis Phelps, Jaeleanyse Phelps, Dasani Evans, Tyson Douglas Jr., Aveyon Douglas, Armoni Evans, Amillio Ortiz, and Rose' Brown. He is also survived by his eight siblings, Trey Lias, Ali B., Davis, Denita Glover-Colon, Darin Glover, Devon Glover Sr., Luther Lamont Gore, Jabin Baxter, and his sister-in-law, Renee' Glover.

Joel was predeceased by his son, Justin Evans.
