Joanne G. Kramer

Joanne G. (Gray) Kramer, 75, of Exeter Township, died March 29, 2011, in Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

She was the widow of John Barton Kramer.

Born in Altoona, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Marjorie Gorsuch.

Joanne earned a Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in English from Widener University.

She was employed as a senior editor for ASTM (American Society for Testing Materials), retiring in 2000.

Joanne was a member of Atonement Lutheran Church.

She was a past President of the American Association of University Women, Delaware County Chapter. Joanne was also a Board Member of the Exeter Library.

Joanne is survived by her daughter, Alice K., wife of Randy Harper, Fleetwood; three brothers, Robert, husband of Mary Gray, West Grove, Robert, husband of Betty Gorsuch and James, husband of Kay Gorsuch, all of Jacksonville, FL; her grandson, Daniel R. Kramer, Collegeville and her daughter-in-law, Susan L. Kramer, Collegeville.

She was predeceased by her son, Carl F. Kramer.

Services will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. in Atonement Lutheran Church, 5 Wyomissing Blvd, Wyomissing, PA 19610. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA. Friends may call Friday from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. in the church. Contributions may be made to Atonement Lutheran Church at the above address. Edward J.
