Joanna Hanley

Joanna (Lopez) Hanley, 62, of Elverson passed away April 20, 2015 in the Brandywine Hospital.

She was the wife of Robert P. Hanley, Jr. They were married on December 26, 1981.

Born in Manhattan, NY, she was the daughter of Elvira (Messina) Lopez, Long Island, NY, and the late Daniel Lopez.

Joanna was graduate of Liberty University, VA, in 2001 where she received a B.A. in Biblical Studies.

She was a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church, Lynchburg, Virginia.

Joanna was a clarinet concert master in New York. She could sing as well as play multiple instruments. She was an avid painter with numerous mural paintings displayed at the Torch Community Center.

She was a prayer warrior, many times praying over people, enhancing their quality of life inspired by the power of God.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Steven D. Hanley and Vera-Jo Hanley; brother, Larry Messina.
