Joanna Blossick

Joanna Blossick, 92, passed away on December 19, 2025 , in the comfort of her home. She was the wife of the late Jack Blossick.

Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late William Straka and Anna (Wojehowski). Joanna attended and graduated from Central Catholic High School and took business classes at RACC. She worked as secretary at Bell Telephone, now ATT&T, as well as a Twx operator.

She enjoyed cooking, sewing, knitting, going out to church picnics, going out in her community, as well as watching and shopping on QVC. She will be remembered for her kindness and her caring heart.

Left to treasure her memory are nephews, Brian Hain and William Hain; greatnieces: Danielle, Erin, Kelly, and Kali. She was predeceased by her husband, Jack, and her son, Thomas.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 2, 2025 at 10 a.m. at the Chapel of Resurrection in Gethsemane Cemetery, 3139 Kutztown Rd, Reading, PA 19605, with burial to follow.
