Joan A. Pietrobono

Joan A. Pietrobono, 68, of West Wyomissing, died March 30, in ManorCare Sinking Spring.

She was the wife of Jerry H. Pietrobono.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Anna (Straka) Golenbieski.

Joan was a hostess for both the Hitching Post Restaurant and Dempsy's in Shillington for a combined 15 years.

She was a member of St. Ignatius of Loyola R.C.C., Whitfield.

Joan is survived by her son, Todd J., husband of Annmarie Pietrobono, Newmanstown; and two daughters, Sandra J. (Pietrobono), wife of Daniel Kelly, Muhlenberg Township, and Sherry L. (Peitrobono), wife of Philip Stover, Schoeneck, PA.

Other survivors include two sisters, Jane (Golenbieski) Waszak, Shillington and Janice (Golenbieski) Berstler, Exeter Township. There are also six grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Julianna, Hannah, Emily, Brian and Sarah.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 1 p.m. in St. Ignatius Church. A viewing will be held Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Fox Chase Cancer Center, 333 Cottman Avenue, Room C-223, Philadelphia, PA 19111. Edward J.
