Joan M. Skusa

Joan M. (McMahon) Skusa, 78, of Shillington, passed away November 3, 2016, in the Reading Hospital.

She is survived by her husband, Emil Richard Skusa, whom she married April 11, 1964.

Born in Binghamton, NY, she was the daughter of the late Albert P. and Mary E. (Jones) McMahon.

Joan was a bookkeeper at Binghamton Press and Sun for several years.

She was a member of St. John's Baptist de la Salle Roman Catholic Church.

Joan was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She especially enjoyed spending time at home surrounded by her family.

Joan loved bowling, playing bingo, and watching her favorite soap operas.

In addition to her husband, Joan is survived by two children: Beverly M., wife of Gregory Leonti, Shillington, and Patricia L., wife of David Pressley, Wernersville. She is survived by 4 grandchildren: Margaret, Stefanie, Rachel, and Corry. She is also survived by She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and sister, Dorothy Schoch of Palm Harbor, FL.

She is predeceased by her sisters, Mary Torto and Helen Nemconsky.
