Joan L. Stoudt

Joan L. (Hendricks) Stoudt, 72, formerly of Temple, died January 18th at 8:55 am in ManorCare Health Services, Muhlenberg Township, where she had been since April 4, 2001.

She was the widow of Dale D. Stoudt, who died March 7, 1988.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Albert A. and Florence (Hanson) Hendricks.

She was a 1950 graduate of Reading High School.

Stoudt was a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church, Temple.

She worked for over 20 years for Bell Telephone before her retirement.

Stoudt is survived by a daughter, Michele (Stoudt) Rivera of Alsace Township.

Other survivors include a brother, Albert Hendricks of Laureldale and a sister, Charlotte (Hendricks) Shade of Laureldale.

There are four grandchildren.

Prayer services will be Friday at 11:00 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Viewing Friday 10:00 am until time of service. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Kutztown.
