Joan Kinder

Joan (Zarychta) Kinder, 61, of 103 Adams Drive, Exeter Township died of natural causes February 2nd at 7:31 am in her residence.

She was the wife of Robert H. Kinder.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Thaddeus Zarychta and Stella Bialas.

She was a 1958 graduate of Muhlenberg High School.

Kinder worked as a secretary in the engineering department of AT&T from 1959 until 1978.

She later was the owner of Pony Expresso Co., & Luv Buds to Go, both of Exeter Township from 1985 until 2002.

Kinder last worked 13 years as a title clerk for Penske Truck Leasing, last working January 24th.

She is survived by a son, Michael K. Smith of Reading and a step-son, Erik T. Kinder of Shillington.

Kinder is also survived by two grandchildren, Jeremy and Christopher Smith; and two step-grandchildren, Tyler and Gaige Kinder.

Services will be private at the conveyance of the family. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
