Joan M. Heckman

Joan M. Heckman, 79, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 in her Hamburg home. She was the wife of David F. Heckman, with whom she shared 60 years of marriage.

Born in Middleport to the late Edward and Sue (Donbrowski) Miller, Joan was employed by the Hamburg Center as a food preparation worker for 12 years.

Joan is survived by her husband, David; son, David C. Heckman of Fleetwood; daughter, Pamela J. Sonon (Craig) of Hamburg; grandsons, Matthew Sonon and Austin Heckman; and great grandson, Noah.

According with her wishes, services for Joan will be private. Her family wishes to thank Compassus hospice for their dedication, care and compassion through the last several years.
