Joan Frances Faust

Joan Frances Faust, 86, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2026, at Complete Care at Berkshire. Born on March 22, 1940, in Reading, Pennsylvania, she was the only daughter of the late Frank and Theresa (Jankowiak) Perdoch.

Joan married Raymond R. Faust in 1965 and shared nine years of marriage with him before his passing in 1974. Together, they had family of three beloved daughters.

For many years, Joan worked as a lunch aide in various schools within the Reading Area School District. She was also a longtime and faithful member of St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church.

Joan will be lovingly remembered by her daughters: Deborah Faust of Reading, Sharon Faust of Mt. Penn, and Kathleen Hix of Shoemakersville; her cherished grandchildren: Joshua Moore, Steven Faust, Shawn Faust, Tiffany Bradbury, Teresa Faust, and Ramona Campa; and her great-grandchildren, Savannah and Axel James.

In addition to her parents and husband, Joan was preceded in death by her brothers, Bernard and Theodore Perdoch.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Resurrection at Gethsemane Cemetery, 3139 Kutztown Road, Laureldale, PA 19605. Burial will follow.
