Joan E. Boyer

Joan Elaine (Anderson) Boyer, 69, of 2640 Grandview Blvd., Spring Township died in her residence on December 20th at 12:02a.m.

She was the wife of William E. Boyer Jr.

Born in Reading, Pa., she was a daughter of Margaret M. (Hensler) Anderson of Hanover, York County and the late Russell D. Anderson.

She was a 1951 graduate of Pottsville High School and a 1953 graduate of Pottsville Business School, both in Schuylkill County.

Boyer was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Spring Township.

She is also survived by a daughter, Kathleen J. Boyer of West Chester.

Other survivors include two brothers, James R. Anderson and John R. Anderson, both of Hanover, York County.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, 2810 St. Albans Drive, Sinking Spring, Pa 19608. Viewing 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. in the church. Entombment in Gethsemane Mausoleum, Muhlenberg Township. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the church or Animal Rescue League PO Box 69, Mohnton, Pa 19540.
