Joan A. Stueber

On Saturday, June 5, 2021, Joan Stueber passed away after celebrating her 89th birthday.

Joan was born in Easton, PA to Paul. E. And Evelyn (Hunt) Ackerman on June 4, 1932.

She went to nursing school and then worked at Easton Hospital. Joan went on to become a nurse anesthetist and worked for many years at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale.

She was married to John "Jack" Stueber for over 50 years and they spent their golden years in Vero Beach, Florida.

Joan was an avid music lover - she played the banjo, French horn, flute and loved to sing. She enjoyed traveling the world and hosting grand parties. Joan enjoyed creating art, food and memories. She treasured time with family and friends and loved to dance. She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Evelyn, her husband, Jack, her siblings Marilyn, Evelyn, Pauline, John, and Paul (Bill).

She is survived by her sister, MaryEllen and many nieces and nephews.
