Jo Ann Lusane

Jo Ann Lusane, 54, of Wernersville, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018, in Reading Hospital.

She was the beloved wife and high school sweetheart of Tyrone Lusane, whom she married March 1 1997.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of Carl Honsberger and Shirley S. (Snyder), wife of John Bolig.

Jo Ann was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Reading.

She was a 1982 graduate of Governor Mifflin High School.

Jo Ann was employed by J.C. Ehrlich as an administrative assistant for 21 years.

Jo Ann was an avid Eagles fan. She enjoyed swimming, going to the casino's and volunteered with the Special Olympics, where she loved to watch her daughter bowl in the Olympics. She was well known for her candy making. Jo Ann was a devoted mother to her daughters and God children. She cared for all who were welcomed into her home

She is survived by two daughters: Tyann Lusane, and Miranda Lusane. One half sister, Jennifer Honsberger-Topp also survives her.

Jo Ann was predeceased by her brother, Brent Honsberger, who died November 13, 2014.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, July 9, 2018 at 12 p.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading with burial to follow at Charles Evans Cemetery.
