Jillian Elaine Harris, 21, of Sinking Spring entered the Kingdom of Heaven on Friday, January 6, 2012 at St. Joseph Medical Center, Reading, PA after a valiant fight with pneumonia.
Born in Norristown, PA on October 3, 1990, Jillian was diagnosed at birth with Congenital Heart Disease and Cerebral Palsy.
She was the beloved daughter of Sheila (Fry) Duvall and Benjamin Duvall.
She is survived by her brother, John Harris, at home, her grandparents, Ron and Joann Olanin, Reading, and her Godparents, Jean and Andy Delliponti, Conshohocken and many cousins and friends who were part of our family as she touched many lives.
She was predeceased by her biological father, Dave Harris, grandparents John and Dorothy Fry, and two uncles: Randy and Tom Fry, all of Conshohocken, PA.
Jillian was a senior at Wilson High School in Mrs. Diane Anderson's Multiple Disability classroom.
She was a member of Best Buddies club at Wilson. She enjoyed going to her work training program at the Crowne Plaza and Abilities in Motion with her job coach, Bonnie Kleinschmidt. She loved shopping, crafts and exploring the world around her. She also enjoyed listening to music and spending time with her best friend Britney Madden and her many aides from Supportive Concepts for Families who made her life a happy one.
Viewing and fellowship service will be held at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. Family and friends will be welcomed to say goodbye to Jillian from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. with services beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her honor to Make a Wish Foundation, 1-800-676-WISH and Easter Seals Society Summer Camp Attn: Michelle Rittle, 1040 Ligget Avenue, Reading, PA 19611, as both organizations have enriched her life.
