Jewel L. Holz

Jewel L. Holz, 99, of Rockland Township, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2011 in the Reading Hospital.

Born in Cleveland, Tennessee, she was a daughter of the late John B. and Mattie L. (Lingerfelt) Beaty.

She was employed as an accountant for 30 years with the Department of Navy until retiring.

She is survived by her son: Alfred Holz of Rockland Township and her Grandchildren: Rebecca, Weatherly and Tobin. Also surviving are her Great Grandchildren: Maia, Zoe, Elisa and Skyler.

A Memorial Service will be held in Blankenbiller Funeral Home, 423 Main Street, Oley, on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 2:00 pm. Interment will be private. Contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Berks County, 1801 N. 11th Street, Reading, Pa. 19604.
