Jerome T. Reed

Jerome T. Reed, 82, passed away on May 8, 2023 at Reading Hospital. He was the loving husband to the late Judith Reed (Ackins), until her passing in August 2022.

Born in Reading, he graduated from Governor Mifflin High School and went on to join the Navy. Jerome proudly worked as a CB in the Navy and spent nine months in Antarctica building the buildings for research scientists. He also worked for NGK/Cabot Borilco where he retired after 25 years.

In his free time, Jerome loved spending time with his family. He was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed spending time fishing and hunting.

Left to treasure his memory are his daughter, Suzanne Lott (Brian), granddaughters, MaryAnne Morris (Joshua), Abigail Kuhn (Chad), as well as great-grandchildren, Caroline Morris and Avery Kuhn.

Services for Jerome will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 11 a.m. at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc, 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading, PA 1961.
