Jerome J. Bielawski

Jerome J. Bielawski, 82, of Sinking Spring died September 30, 2014, in Reading Hospital.

He was the husband of Mary (Marie) Glass.

Born in Shenandoah, he was a son of the late Walter and Cecelia (Piasceyynski) Bielawski.

He was a graduate of J Cooper High School.

Jerome served in the U.S. Navy for 29 years, retiring as a Lt. Commander.

He was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield.

Jerome was a P.I.A.A. football official.

He enjoyed going to his grandchildren's sporting events.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Christine, CA.; five stepchildren: Kenneth, husband of Jennifer Templin, Reading; Jon, husband of David Emert, Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Joseph, husband of Krista Templin, Wyomissing; Randall B. husband of Antonella Templin, Sinking Spring, Jean Marie Renzi, IA; His brother, William, husband of Evelyn Bielawski, Hayward, CA., and his sister, Claire Kobylanski, Pottstown. Twelve grandchildren: Faith Bielawski, Katie Grier, Margot Templin, Andrew Templin, Lucas Templin, Jakob Templin, Noah Templin, Jesssica Templin, Sean Templin, Jon Renzi, Anthony Renzi, Dominic Renzi; and his nieces, Lois Georeno, Laurie Boyd also survive him.

Jerome was predeceased by his children, Mark , Anthony , Teresa; three siblings, Helen Debiec, Ted Bielawski and Jean Olsceski.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, 2810 St. Alban's Dr., Sinking Spring, PA 19608.
