Jerold L. Hanley

Jerold Lewis Hanley, 59, died June 18, 2007 in his Laureldale Borough residence.

Born September 9, 1947 in West Reading, he was a son of Ruth Elizabeth (Kantner) Hanley and the late Robert Pershing Hanley.

He was a 1965 graduate of Muhlenberg High School.

Jerold was employed a number of years with the Reading Railroad.

He was a Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

Jerold is also survived by a son, Patrick B. Hanley of Mount Penn.

Other survivors include three siblings, Robert D. husband of Virginia L. (DeAnglis) Hanley of Muhlenberg Township, Kevin T. Hanley of Laureldale and Dolores M. wife of John Kahn of Laureldale.

He is also survived by his former spouse, Joan L. (Hammond) Hanley of Wyomissing.

Memorial Services will be held Thursday at 2:00 pm in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, 3300 Kutztown Rd., Laureldale with the Rev. Grant A. Wickert officiating.
