Jerald P. Eisenhart

Jerald P. Eisenhart, 80, of Sinking Spring, died July 17th at 4:40 am the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, where he had been since June 23, 2005.

He was the widower of Dorothea F. (Kelchner) Eisenhart, who died April 8, 1988.

Born in Alsace Township, he was a son of the late Leo and Helen (Krick) Eisenhart.

He was a Navy Veteran of WWII.

Eisenhart was employed as a welder 35 1/2 years by Dana Parish Corporation, Reading, retiring in 1983.

He was a life member of Central (Laureldale), Goodwill (Muhlenberg Township) and Fritztown (Spring Township) Fire Companies.

Eisenhart was also a life member of the Sinking Spring VFW #6150.

He is survived by a brother, Donald R. Eisenhart, Muhlenberg Township.

There are also three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Shirley Ann (Eisenhart) Wilczynski, who died October 21, 2004.

Memorial services will be Wednesday at 1:30 pm in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Visitation will be Wednesday 12:30 pm until time of service. Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Township.
