Jennie B. Farina

Jennie Barbara (Jarsocrak) Farina, 85, of Reading, died of natural causes July 11th in ManorCare Health Services, West Reading.

She was married June 28, 1952 to Charles Ralph Farina.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Wojciech and Katarzyna (Kieta) Jeziorczak.

She was employed 46 years as a sewing machine operator, last working at Rachman's Knitting Mills, Reading, before retiring in 1983.

Jennie was a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

She is also survived by two sons, Ernest J. husband of Dale-Ann (Hendricks) Farina and Charles R. Jr. husband of Patricia A. (Quaglio) Farina, all of Muhlenberg Township.

Other survivors include a sister, Florence (Jarsocrak) widow of Carl Owens of Ephrata, Lancaster County and a brother, Walter husband of Fern (Rebholz) Jarsocrak of Sarasota, Florida.

There are also five grandchildren, Lisa (Farina) wife of Jonathan E. Goehler, Robert C. Farina, Brian R. Farina, Kyle A. Farina and Tyler J. Farina.

She is also survived by a great-granddaughter, Caitlin M. Goehler.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 9:00 am in Holy Rosary R.C. Church, Third & Franklin Streets, Reading. Friends may call Thursday 6:30 - 8:00 pm and Friday 8:00 - 8:30 am in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading.
