Jeffrey R. Kemmerer

Jeffrey R. Kemmerer, 40, of Oley, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 in his residence.

He was the husband of Jennifer L. (Snyder) Kemmerer and father to his beloved cat Harvey.

Born in Alsace Township, he was the son of Raymond A. and Janice L. (Seip) Kemmerer of Alsace Township.

He was a 1989 graduate of Oley Valley High School and 1991 graduate of Lincoln Technical Institute.

He was employed at Carpenter Technology Corporation, Reading, for 18 years.

He was a member of Zion (Spies) Lutheran Church, Alsace Township and received his Eagle Scout award in 1989.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his Sister: Tammy J. Kemmerer of Phoenixville and his wife's parents; Grover H. and Linda L. Snyder of Limekiln. Also surviving are his Sister and Brother in law; Jessica, wife of Jeffrey Bowers of Muhlenberg Township and his nieces, Alexis and Lindsay Bowers.

A Memorial service will be held in Zion (Spies) Lutheran Church, 310 Spies Church Road, Alsace Township on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 11:00 am. Friends and family are invited to call on Saturday from 10:00-11:00 am in the church. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital Kimmel Cancer Center, 233 S. 10th Street, BLSB Rm. 1050, Philadelphia, Pa. 19107
