Jeffrey Kenneth Kauffman "Jammer" from the Coffey and the Jammer Show on WTPA, 93.5 FM, Harrisburg, was pronounced dead March 2, 2007 at 6:30 am in his Upper Tulpehocken Township residence.

He was the widower of Gail Theresa (Young) Kauffman, who died October 1, 2002.

Born October 22, 1949 in Harrisburg, he was a son of Kenneth M. and E. Joyce (Heimerdinger) Kauffman of Dunedin, Florida.

He was a 1967 graduate of Central Dauphin (Harrisburg) High School and a 1971 graduate of Penn State University.

Jeffrey was a radio personality for over 20 years with WTPA, 93.5FM, Harrisburg, using the name "Jammer" in the Coffey and the Jammer Show, last working February 23rd.

He was also employed since 1999 as a copy editor with the Reading Eagle Company, last working February 23rd.

Other survivors include two sisters, Susan J. (Kauffman) wife of Dennis Heck of Hamburg and Linda L. Kauffman life partner of Deirdre C. Speck of Rehoboth Beach, Del.

Jeffrey is also survived by four nephews, Robert Sellers, Brad Sellers, Casey Heck and Scott Heck and five great nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be held Wednesday at 7:00 pm in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. Visitation will be held Wednesday 5:30 pm until time of services.
