Jeffrey P. Kaisoglus "Coach K", 49, of Shillington, passed away on September 11th in the loving hands of his family at his residence.
Born in Reading, he was the beloved son of Peter and Rose A. (Piccone) Kaisoglus of Sinking Spring.
Jeffrey was the loving husband of Jean E. Carse of Shillington.
He was a graduate of Muhlenberg High School in 1975, and West Chester University in 1979.
He was a Health and Physical Education Teacher for 17 years in the Conrad Weiser High School.
He was a member of Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, Reading.
Jeffrey coached baseball at Conrad Weiser for 6 years. He was an All-Star at Muhlenberg High School. He was a four year starter at the West Chester University for Division 1 Baseball. He also received honors in 1979 as Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League Most Valuable Player. He was selected on the 50 year century baseball team. Jeffrey also had an invitation to try out for the Pittsburg Pirates.
Besides being survived by his wife and his parents, he is also survived by two step-daughters, Heather L. (Carse) Keller of Sinking Spring and Alison M. Carse of Shillington, and one brother Stephen M. Kaisoglus of Sinking Spring.
There are also 6 step- grandchildren.
There will be a Funeral Service on Friday at 11:30 a.m. at the Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, Reading. Friends may call from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday night at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township. In lieu of flowers, Contributions may be made to Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 1001 E. Wyomissing Blvd. Reading, PA 19611, or, Pinnacle Health Hospice, 301 One Norwegian Plaza, Pottsville, PA 17901. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of the arrangements.
