Jeffery Ray Gilbreath

Jeffery Ray Gilbreath, 56, passed away on April 9, 2025 in Reading. He was the longtime partner of Lori Blankenship.

Born in Tyler, TX, he was the son of the late Jimmy Leo and Kay (Pearce) Gilbreath. Jeff served his country in the Army Special Forces 75th Ranger Regiment. He later worked in the aerospace industry as a machinist.

Jeff was in the process of joining the congregation at St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church.

He is survived by his loving sister, Dorothy Rodriguez of Covington Texas.

Jeff was preceded in death by his brother Jimmy WW Gilbreath of Ft . Worth Texas and nephews Shane and Cody Gilbreath of Covington Texas

The Memorial Mass will be held Monday, April 28, 2025 at 1 p.m. at St. Ignatius with interment at Gethsemane Cemetery, Reading to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Veterans Making a Difference, c/o Liz Graybill, 2412 Spring St. West Lawn, PA 19609.
