Jeannette E. Kerber

Jeannette E. (Tully) Kerber, 99, formerly of Wyomissing, passed away December 22, 2009 in Highlands Skilled Nursing.

Her husband, Ira N. Kerber died April 19, 1959.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late James J. and Edythe M. (Shanaman) Tully.

Jeannette was a graduate of St. Joseph School of Nursing, Reading in 1933 and West Chester University in 1968 where she earned a B.S. degree in Nursing.

She was employed as a registered nurse for 13 years by Radnor School District, retiring in 1975. Jeannette previously worked for 15 years for the State Public Health Department, Chester County.

Jeannette was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.

She is survived by her cousin Charles "Babe" Tulley, Reading.

Josephine was predeceased by her sister, Josephine E., Caldwell.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart R. C. Church. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery.
