Jeanne Barbara (Frisch) Reber, 61, formerly of 203 Maplewood Ave., Mohnton, died July 17, 5:40 a.m. in The Reading Hospital & Medical Center where she had been since July 13th.
She was taken to the hospital from Berks Heim, 1243 County Welfare Road, Bern Township where she had resided since 3/12/2001.
Born February 13, 1941 in Lehighton, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Styhen and Cathryn (Sitarchik) Frisch and the adopted daughter of the late Cecilia E. (Henkel) Baque Ressler.
Reber was a 1958 graduate of Central Catholic High School.
She was employed for a number of years as a waitress for the Deluxe Restaurant, Cumru Township until her retirement.
Reber is survived by two sons; Bryan S. husband of Lisa M. (Renzi) Reber of Mohnton and Bradley S. Reber of Reading.
She is also survived by three sisters; Marie H. (Baque) widow of James Frees of Kutztown, Barbara M. (Baque) wife of Robert C. Furman of Reading, Patricia A. (Baque) wife of Hans O. Gartner of Lebanon and a brother, Robert L. husband of Faith (Sutton) Baque of Shillington.
Other survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Prayer services will be held Saturday July 20th at 10:00 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale. Viewing from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
