Jeanne M. Cremer, age 85 years, of Exeter Township, formerly of Riverview Park, passed away at Reading Hospital on Wednesday, March 22 surrounded by her loving family. Her beloved husband, William C. Cremer, Jr., passed away on December 31, 2015. Jeanne was born on April 26, 1931 in Reading, the daughter of the late Edna A. (Hinnershitz) and Joseph Lombardo.
A 1949 graduate of Reading High School, she married her high school sweetheart in 1953. Together, they enjoyed 62 years of happiness. Jeanne was an active member of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church in Reading, serving as a Sunday school and Bible school teacher for over 45 years. She worked with her husband at their family business, William C. Cremer and Son Inc. for over half a century. Prior to this, she worked at Gilbert Associates in Reading. Alongside her husband, Jeanne was involved with the Reading Camping Club. Jeanne was quick to tell stories of memorable days with those she loved, especially those about her travels and experiences with her husband and family. She is now listening to her treasured records, watching over her family with a smile on her face as she dances with her husband.
Jeanne is survived by her sons; Philip T., husband of Sallie Cremer, of Kutztown and Thomas A., husband of Lori Cremer, of Sinking Spring; brother, David, husband of Elaine Lombardo, of Leesport. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Patricia Pachuilo, wife of Salvatore of Reading; grandchildren, Kelly, wife of Josh Layser, Andrew, Angela and Alicia and great granddaughter, Ava and several nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her beloved granddaughter, Laura.
