Jeanne Swienckowski Berman

Jeanne Swienckowski Berman,69, formerly of Reading, PA, died May 27, 2011 in Antioch, Tennessee after a two year battle with lung cancer.

Born on Sept. 16, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Eugenia Swienckowski.

She was a graduate of Reading Central Catholic High School class of 1959.

Jeanne was employed on the set-up crew at the Pavilion of the Grand Ole Opry.

She is survived by a daughter, Irene Salcito, and two sons David and Richard Berman, along with 7 grandchildren. Also surviving are her brothers Frank (Sally) Swienckowski of The Villages, Fla., John (Carol) Swienckowski of Mi Novi, Michigan and sister Susie (Ron) Petersen of Rangeley Maine.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Classmates will attend a Memorial Mass at St. Catharine's of Siena R.C. Church, 2427 Perkiomen Ave. Mt. Penn on Saturday July 16, 2011 at 8 a.m. followed by a breakfast at the Breakfast Hut in Reiffton.
