Jeanette N. Vicari

Jeanette Nancy (Ciabattoni) Vicari, 80, of Muhlenberg Township died January 13, 2012 in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

She was the wife of Lindy Valentino Vicari who died September 3, 2003.

Born January 11, 1932 in West Reading, she was a daughter of the late John and Margaret (DiPardo) Ciabattoni.

She was a 1950 graduate of Reading High School.

Jeanette and her late husband co-owned the Reading Fairgrounds for 24 years until they retired in 1979.

She was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park.

Surviving are three children: Vincent L., husband of Saunja M. (Wilson) Vicari of Lower Heidelberg Township; Regina A. (Vicari), wife of Robert J. Henninger of Muhlenberg Township and John L., husband of Michelle (Andrusiak) Vicari of Muhlenberg Township.

Other survivors include a brother, Louis J. Ciabattoni of Muhlenberg Township.

There are nine grandchildren also surviving: Nicole, Andrew, John, Margaret, Lindy, Peter, Giavanna, Natalee and Ellee.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in Holy Guardian Angels R.C. Church, 3121 Kutztown Road, Reading, PA 19605. A viewing will be held from 8:30-9:30 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
