Jeanette Theresa Kauffman

Jeanette Theresa Kauffman, a very caring and loving daughter of the late Harold LeRoy Borrell and Mary (Capozzi) Borrell of Laureldale, died March 7, 2012, in Reading Hospital.

Jeanette has four very caring and loving daughters. They loved her dearly and never left her side since the onset of her illness last June.

Her daughters include Amy M., wife of Bradley D. Bressler, of Leesport; Amanda K., wife of Michael J. Abboud, of Haddonfield, NJ; Katie A., wife of Keith D. Beach, of Chicago, IL; and Molly E., wife of Rick M. Periandi, of West Lawn.

She also has nine grandchildren: Emma L. Bressler, Isabella M. Bressler, Julia G. Bressler, Noah B. Bressler, Madison A. Beach, Ella T. Beach, Bridget E. Beach, Jonathan M. Abboud, and Anna B. Abboud. One grandchild, Brayden M. Periandi, is due in May.

Jeanette loved her children and grandchildren more than anything in the world, and they loved her the same in return.

She was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield, where she belonged to the shawl knitting club for the elderly and other societies.

Jeanette loved decorating her home and gardening. She also loved to go to Stone Harbor with her children and grandchildren and having pool parties at her home.

She was a stay at home mom until her children graduated. Later Jeanette worked for the Reading School District.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Ignatius Church. Friends may call Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading.
