Jeanette Buchele

Jeanette Buchele, 89, of Shillington, passed away August 7, 2013 in Berks Heim.

She was married to Christian F. Buchele for 66 years.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Mr. And Mrs. Nicolas Pizzo.

She was employed as a bookkeeper for her family's business, Buchele's Auto Body Shop, Mohton, for 35 years until her retirement in 2005.

Jeanette enjoyed home decorating, cooking, baking and was a skilled seamstress. She was also an avid birdwatcher. She loved attending the Kutztown Folk Festival every year.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughters, Mary Helen M. Buchele, wife of Darryl Torrence, West Reading, and JoAnn, wife of Dan Wentzel, Colorado Springs, CO.

Also surviving is her brother-in-law, Bruce Buchele, grandson, Sebastian Torrence, and niece, Victoria Redpath, wife of Bruce Borneman, Birdsboro.

Jeanette was predeceased by five siblings.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is honored to serve the family with the arrangements.
