Jean E. Yerger

Jean E. (Mogel) Yerger, 71, of Exeter Township, died September 24, 2018, at Keystone Villa, Douglassville.

She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald L. Yerger.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late John F. and Ruth R. (Reber) Mogel.

She was a 1964 graduate of West Reading High School.

Jean was employed by the Exeter School District as an instructional aide for 33 years.

She was a member of Community United Church of Christ, St. Lawrence.

Her joy was her grandchildren and going to all their sporting events and other activities.

Jean is survived by two daughters-in-law, Rebecca (Snyder) Yerger, Oley and Jamnie (Marks) Yerger, Douglassville; and four grandchildren: Jordan M. Yerger, Taylor J. Yerger, Ty S. Yerger and Tate S. Yerger.

She was predeceased by two sons, Carl D. Yerger and John L. Yerger.

Services will be Monday, October 1, 2018, at 1:30 p.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be private at Sinking Spring Cemetery.
