Jean A. Seelicke

Jean A. Seelicke, 80, of Wyomissing, passed away at The Highlands Skilled Nursing Care on Sunday, February 19, 2023.

Born in Reading, Berks County, on March 30, 1942; she was a daughter of the late Gilbert and Agnes (Miller) Coldren. She was a graduate of Governor Mifflin High School and Muhlenberg College with a Bachelor's Degree. Jean was an Elementary School Teacher for Governor Mifflin School District, Cocalico School District and Wyomissing Hills Elementary Center for five years.

Jean was a member for 20 years of Reading Hospitals Thrift Shop, where she served as president for many years. She also was a member of the Junior League of Reading. In 1978 Jean acted as the chairman for the St. Joseph Charity Ball.

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Donald H. Seelicke; her son, Douglas H Seelicke, and his wife, Jennifer, of Little Rock, AR; her grandson, Vaughn H. Seelicke; and her sister, Margarite Coldren Nitz, of Naples, FL.
