Jean M. Paolini

Jean M. Paolini, 84, Sinking Spring, passed away September 19, 2014, in Manor Care.

She was the wife of the late Carmen R. Paolini who died October 6, 2008. Born in Shamokin, she was the daughter of John and Kathleen (Roth) Fleming.

Jean was a 1947 graduate of Central Catholic High School. She was an administrative secretary in the guidance office of Holy Name High School, retiring in 2002. She was former president of Junior Catholic Women's Club of Reading and a former member of the choir of St. Margaret's Church.

Jean is survived by three sons: Vince, husband of Ann Paolini, Wyomissing; Chris, husband of Maureen Paolini, West Reading; Michael, husband of Kim Paolini, Sinking Spring, and one daughter, Michele, wife of Doug Sanders, Wyomissing. She is also survived by a sister, Patricia, wife of Richard Hindle, Boalsburg, PA; nine grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Lauren, Christopher, Andrew, Thomas, Zane, Jake, Stephen, and Erin. Jean was predeceased by a brother, Jack Fleming.

She was predeceased by her son, Carmen "Butchie" Paolini.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 11:30 a.m. at St. Ignatius R. C. Church, Whitfield. Friends may call in the church 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
