Jean Kathryn Motsay, 76, of Wyomissing, died November 3, 2007 in Phoebe Berks Health Care, Wernersville, where she had been a patient since Tuesday.

She was married June 30, 1957 to Dr. Robert Thomas Motsay, Sr., of Wyomissing.

Born April 27, 1931 in Totowa, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Emmanuel and Giovana (Brullo) Garzieri.

She was a 1948 graduate of Passaic Valley High School and a 1949 graduate of Ridgewood Secretarial School, both in New Jersey.

Jean was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading, where she was a member of the Sacred Heart Seniors and a 17 year member of the choir.

She was employed a total of 41 years as a medical secretary, working her last three years with The Reading Hospital and Medical Center, before retiring in 1990.

Jean is also survived by three children, Patricia Ann wife of David G. Baver of Pennsburg, Montgomery County; Robert T. Jr., husband of Virginia J. (Bojak) Motsay of Wayne, Chester County and Dr. Stephen J. husband of Kendra S. (Weaver) Motsay of Emmaus, Lehigh County.

Other survivors include a sister, Josephine wife of Salvatore Perilli of Brick, New Jersey and a sister-in-law, Mary (Baglieri) Garzieri of Wayne, New Jersey.

There are also four grandchildren that survive her; Alexander, Aaron, Emily Jean and Peyton.

She was predeceased by a brother, Anthony Garzieri.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:00 am in Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Lakeview and Franklin Streets, West Reading, PA 19611. A viewing will be held Tuesday from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. No public viewing on Wednesday.
